Bubbles!
Who are we?
As a community-based FRC team, Bubbles is dedicated to serving the youthin York Region while also reaching out to the entire GTA area. Based at the Aurora Business Park in York Region, Ontario, Bubbles will debut their rookie FRC season in 2025. The team currently consists of 16 students, with half transitioning from the graduated FLL team. Although we are a rookie FRC team, we are not new to FIRST. The founding members started an FLL team in 2019 with coach Dahai Zhang (a.k.a. Mr. π), and we have grown intofour FLL teams over the past three years.
Projects/Outreach Events
Alongside our FRC journey, we have engaged in various impactful projects, ranging from Hackster competitions, where we honed our technical skills and gained recognition, to community outreach events that allowed us to share our passion for robotics. Through these activities, we’ve showcased our commitment to innovation and STEM education, inspiring young minds and contributing to a vibrant learning community. By taking on these diverse challenges, we continue to grow as a team, building skills that reach beyond the competition field.
Business Plan
Our business plan focuses on sustainable growth through partnerships, sponsorships, and targeted fundraising. We emphasize community outreach to promote STEM and develop leadership within our team. By balancing competition with community impact, Bubbles 10015 aims to create a lasting foundation, inspiring future innovators and strengthening our presence in local STEM initiatives.
History and Growth
Founded in 2024, Bubbles FRC Team #10015 began their journey with a team of passionate FLL graduates and their mentor. With over five years of immersion in FLL, they have thoroughly embraced the culture of FIRST. The original FLL team members form the core of the FRC team, which has grown to 16 members thanks to their reputation and positive impact.
Mission Statement
We, Bubbles FRC Team 10015, strives to create and maintain an engaging, innovative and creative learning environment that inspires teamwork through STEAM and business principles. Our team’s success in FIRST Robotics is driven by the passion and commitment of each student towards STEAM education. This success is built upon the strong relationships among our students, mentors, community, and sponsors.

SPONSORS!!
Our Sponsors
Our FRC team, Bubbles 10015, is incredibly grateful for the generous support of our sponsors. Their contributions provide the resources we need to innovate, build, and compete at a high level. From materials to mentorship, our sponsors play a vital role in helping us bring our robotics vision to life, and we couldn’t achieve our goals without them. Thank you for fueling our journey and empowering the next generation of STEM leaders!
"WaveMaker"
Current Robot Progress
Our current robot is designed for peak performance and precision, utilizing an MK4i swerve drive paired with Kraken X60 motors and Limelight 3G vision processing. We specifically chose the Kraken X60 motors due to their high torque, which allows us to achieve powerful, controlled movements and excel in intense competition settings. These motors are also well-suited for the MK4i modules, giving us the optimal blend of torque and agility to handle quick directional changes with ease. The MK4i swerve drive system, coupled with these motors, enables our robot to reach high speeds across the field, ensuring we stay competitive in fast-paced scenarios. The Limelight 3G complements this setup by providing full-field localization, giving our team real-time data for accurate positioning, targeting, and alignment. This synergy between hardware and vision processing allows our robot to make precise movements, adapt to dynamic field conditions, and execute strategies with superior accuracy and reliability. Together, these choices ensure our robot is finely tuned for maneuverability, control, and speed, positioning us for success in competition.
