Snap2Splat - An Innovative for Digital Perservation

Our project makes archaeological 3D modeling more affordable, accessible, and community-driven. Through our app, tourists can upload photos and videos of artifacts and historical sites, allowing the public to contribute directly to preservation research. Our system organizes these uploads and uses 3D Gaussian Splatting to create detailed digital replicas without expensive equipment or specialized operators. By combining public engagement with advanced 3D technology, we help protect cultural heritage and make it easier for researchers, educators, and communities to access the past.

Introducing Octa-Master V3!

Introducing Octa-Master V3—a faster, stronger, and smarter evolution of our Spike Prime robot. Now featuring 10 outputs and enhanced gearing for improved speed and torque, this version pushes the boundaries of what’s possible with just 2 motors. Powered by refined Python code, Octa-Master V3 showcases the growth of our student team in both engineering and programming, continuing our legacy of innovation from EV3 to Spike Prime.

DecoScript - A Machine Learning Solution to Decode the Ancient Scripts

By applying machine learning techniques and evaluating multiple models, we developed a system capable of recognizing and interpreting ancient scripts, beginning with Chinese and with the potential to expand to other languages. Using advanced predictive models, our approach can also assist archaeologists in reconstructing missing or damaged portions of inscriptions, providing clearer insights into the past

Meet Sparky!

After three years of building robots with EV3, the team transitioned to Spike Prime, unlocking the exciting features of the new system. Inspired by their senior team, Solvers of X&Y, these young builders and technicians embraced Python to program their robot. Their feedback highlighted the benefits of the switch, including easier construction and more precise control, confirming the move to Spike Prime as a step in the right direction.
