Mark & Rhona Breadner Leadership Award!

At the 2026 FIRST Ontario Provincial Championship, SolversMind was proud to celebrate another special moment: Amani M. from FLL Team 52736 Unknown Solvers was recognized with the Mark & Rhona Breadner Leadership Award.

This award means a lot to us because it recognizes more than competition results. It recognizes leadership, growth, contribution, and the spirit of FIRST.

Amani’s journey through FIRST LEGO League shows exactly what student-driven learning can do. As a young team member of Unknown Solvers, Amani demonstrated responsibility, teamwork, communication, and care for others. Through robot design, innovation project work, presentations, and team collaboration, Amani grew not only as a STEM learner, but also as a confident young leader.

At SolversMind, we believe FIRST is not only about building robots. It is about building people. It helps students learn how to think, speak, lead, support teammates, and solve real problems with courage and purpose.

Amani’s recognition is a proud moment for Team 52736 Unknown Solvers and for the entire SolversMind community. It reminds us that leadership can begin early, and that young students can inspire others through their attitude, effort, and example.

Amani’s FIRST journey is not stopping here. After growing through FIRST LEGO League, he is now taking on a new challenge and preparing to help set up his FTC team for the new season. This next step shows his continued courage, leadership, and willingness to grow. From FLL to FTC, Amani is carrying the spirit of FIRST forward and inspiring more students to follow the same path.

Congratulations, Amani. We are so proud of you and excited to see where your FIRST journey will take you next.
