Excellence in Engineering Award!

What an event!
If finishing as District Event Finalists proved the strength of our robot’s performance, and Ryan Zhang’s FIRST Leadership Award Semi-Finalist recognition reflected the power of student leadership, then winning the Excellence in Engineering Award as a second-year FRC team says something even deeper about who we are.
This award is a tremendous recognition of our student-driven model. It reflects the knowledge, independent research, documentation, engineering process, critical thinking, and execution that our students brought together throughout the season. From identifying problems, testing ideas, refining mechanisms, and documenting decisions, our team worked through the full engineering journey with ownership and purpose.
For Bubbles, this award is especially meaningful because it recognizes not just what we built, but how we built it. Our robot was the result of students learning, questioning, designing, manufacturing, coding, testing, and improving together.
We are beyond proud to share this message with the world: FRC can be run by students. When young people are trusted with real responsibility and supported with the right culture, they can build more than robots. They can build confidence, capability, and the future.
