Strong Start in Rebuilt Season

Week 2 at Durham College marked the very first FRC event of the season for Ontario teams, and Bubbles came ready with our rebuilt robot, “Ballista,” inspired by the WCP design.

As a second-year team with complete student work, Bubbles broke our own record and reached a new milestone. For the first time ever, we became the captain of Alliance 3 and advanced to the playoff semi-finals.

At the same event, Bubbles also received the Rising All-Star Award, recognizing the strength of our student work, team growth, and impact.

It was not an easy event. There were many breakdowns and intense moments, but our students fixed the robot on the move, just like a Formula 1 race team working under pressure. Every repair, every adjustment, and every comeback showed the spirit of this team.
